My first membership to a non -profit association was when I was 12 years old when I joined the Alderly Edge Field & Game Association. This enabled me to shoot smallbore competition and partisipate in there game management program, which involved the manufacture and distribution of duck nesting boxes. Of course I had the idea that I would one day be able to afford a 12 bore double gun and the ammunition to go with it, but it was many years later in another country before that dream could come to fruitition. Since then I have had a keen interest in clubs and associations, they are an integral part of our Western Society without the volunteers, charites and sporting endeavour would only be a control function of government.
I have been one of the founding members of a Four Wheel Drive Association, a singing member of a Choral Association, Business Assocations, Dart Associations, Historical Societies, Country Fire Brigades, State Emergency Services, and served on the managment committee of numerous shooting and historical collecting associations. It is embarressing and seems very self serving to speak about oneself, so please read the Testimonials listed on the right hand side of this page by clicking on the title.
