This historic Gunalda Hotel was established in 1911 and celebrated its 100th birthday last October in 2011. It is a family owned pub, located just 28km from Gympie. It has a friendly  relaxed family atmosphere along with good old, country hospitality.

I was there today the 6th January  to enjoy their quality, home cooked  meals and I was not dissapointed I had a tender juicy, Rump Steak bigger than a dinner plate in those over priced Brisbane Hotels, it was an Inch and a Half thick, with chips and gravy, and pumpkin. Lovely, it was seven hours ago and I am still full.  
We all have to get out of work and smell the roses, (or the steak) at some time. We live in one of the most beutiful places in the world we should all get out and see more of our surroundings.
